When I was a kid, the Easter Bunny often left kites in our baskets. If your Bunny does the same, put that brand new kite to good use at the 3rd Annual Kite Day at Mulberry Fields in Zionsville. Kite Day will take place on Sunday, April 27 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. Proceeds will benefit the Zionsville Boys and Girls Club.

Families can bring their own kites or bring a blanket to sit on for optimum flying kite viewing. (Pack a picnic lunch, too!) Earth Explorer Toys will also be selling a variety of kites on site. Or if you are feeling especially crafty, check out these Pinterest instructions for building your own kite.

Kite Day in Zionsville is an annual event taking place on the last Sunday of the month. In case of rain, the event will happen on the following Sunday (May 3 this year). If you are unsure of the weather, call (317) 919-7901 that day.
